School is in for the Redfish and they’ve been eating! Yesterday was a Stellar Day of fishing. I was filming Live with Redzone Outdoors to showcase a schooled up Redfish Bite! I was accompanied by good friend and fellow Captain, Patrick Brogan. We were able to stalk several groups of Redfish and then found one that was ecstatic! We had several Double and Triple Hookups! It was a picturesque day of Wintertime Redfishing! Beyond the great Redfish Bite we also boated over 30 Sheepshead, and proceeded to run out of bait! Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge
We were fishing in one of my favorite parts of the World yesterday, the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge! Established in 1932 it is one of the oldest Refuges maintained by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department. The Refuge itself encompasses 22 miles of the Atlantic Coastline and contains 66,306 acres of pristine and protected marshland. This is one of the most beautiful parts of the South Carolina Lowcountry, and perhaps my favorite part about the Refuge is the close proximity to the Isle of Palms Marina! Tournament Season
It’s that time of year again, time to pony up and face my competitors. My partner and I have been gearing up to compete in several Professional Redfish Circuits. These circuits are the Lowcountry Redfish Cup, Southern Redfish Cup, and IFA Redfish Tour. We’re looking for a pair of the largest “In Slot” Redfish we can find!
